Johnson County took their match against Claiborne on Friday by a conclusive 33-6 score. That result was just more of the same for Johnson County, who also won the last time these teams played.
The win bumped Johnson County's record up to 5-1. The defeat dropped Claiborne's record to 1-6.
Next week Johnson County take on Happy Valley at 7:30 PM. Johnson County will be strutting in after a victory while Happy Valley will be stumbling in from a loss. Claiborne will have some time to rest before their next matchup, which is against Chuckey-Doak at Chuckey-Doak in two weeks at 7:30 PM. Both of those teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
