Zillah had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. They were fully in charge on Friday, breezing past Evergreen 49-0. The margin was wide but not a surprise since Zillah are ranked far ahead of Evergreen in the MaxPreps state rankings. This was the first game for both teams, giving Zillah a 1-0 record and starting Evergreen off at 0-1.
Next week, Zillah take on Ellensburg at 7:00 PM. As for Evergreen, they will face off against Eatonville.
