Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Advanced Tech Academy's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They were dealt a 73-29 loss at the hands of Trillium Academy. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Advanced Tech Academy has scored all season.
Taylor Prep now has a losing record at 8-9. As for Advanced Tech Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 9-7.
Taylor Prep came up short against the Lakers in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, falling 49-36. Can Taylor Prep avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
