Burlington's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their overall record down to 1-8. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 7.3 points per game. As for Holyoke, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-1.
Burlington does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Holyoke will square off against Platte Canyon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Platte Canyon will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Colorado Rankings (they are ranked 145th, while Holyoke is ranked 28th).
