Softball Recap: Welsh's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Welsh can bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They came out on top against the Singer Hornets by a score of 9-4. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Greyhounds also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2018.

Welsh's victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Singer, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

Looking ahead, Welsh will head out to challenge Notre Dame at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Notre Dame will roll in looking for their 19th straight win, something Welsh surely won't give up without a fight. As for Singer, they will host Lacassine at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
