The Fort Wayne Snider Panthers will face off against the Carroll Chargers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Fort Wayne Snider knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven games -- so hopefully Carroll likes a good challenge.
Last Friday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Fort Wayne Snider beat Marion 79-73.

Fort Wayne Snider's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Trell Hogue, who shot 53% from the field en route to 23 points. Those 23 points gave Hogue a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ketron Paschall, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and 15 rebounds.
Fort Wayne Snider was working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Carroll played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against Fort Wayne Bishop Luers, falling 70-48. While losing is never fun, the Chargers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 146th, while the Knights are ranked 50th).
Fort Wayne Snider will have to keep a close watch on Paxton Crane and Dom Keferl, a pair of players who had a big impact on Carroll's prior game. Crane dropped a double-double with 13 points and 15 boards, while Keferl posted 12 points. Crane is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down ten or more in each of the last three games he's played.
Fort Wayne Snider is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.7 points over those games. Carroll dropped their record down to 9-15 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.
This contest is shaping up to be a blowout: Fort Wayne Snider hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having averaged 63.5 points per game. It's a different story for Carroll, though, as they've been averaging only 34.8 points. The only thing between Fort Wayne Snider and another offensive beatdown is Carroll. Will they be able to keep them contained?
Fort Wayne Snider was able to grind out a solid victory over Carroll when the teams last played back in January, winning 68-56. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Crane, who dropped a double-double with 23 points and 11 boards. Now that he's got a second chance to win this matchup, will Fort Wayne Snider still be able to contain Crane? Check MaxPreps.com after the match to find out.
