Football Game Preview: St. Michael's Prep vs. Avalon

Last Saturday, Avalon put the finishing touches on their 4th blowout victory of the season. They took their contest against Academy of Careers & Exploration by a conclusive 40-8 score. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Avalon had established a 40-6 advantage.

Meanwhile, there's no need to mince words: St. Michael's Prep lost to Sage Hill, and they lost bad. The score wound up at 8-57. St. Michael's Prep were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 8-30.

Avalon's victory lifted them to 5-1 while St. Michael's Prep's defeat dropped them down to 4-2. We'll find out if Avalon can add another positive mark to their record or if St. Michael's Prep can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Avalon's step.
