While Serra Catholic put up plenty of runs on Monday, the same can't be said for Sewickley Academy. The Eagles blew past Sewickley Academy 15-0. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won 11 matches by nine runs or more so far this season.

Tyler Skaggs was a standout: he went a perfect 3-for-3 with six RBI, two stolen bases, and three runs. Those six RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jake Holmes, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.

Serra Catholic always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .633. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Sewickley Academy only posted an OBP of .000.

Serra Catholic pushed their record up to 14-3 with the win, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games. As for Sewickley Academy, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-10 record.
