 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Megan Houserman, who  got on base  in all four of her plate appearances with two  triples, three  RBI,  and two  runs.  MaKenna Raden was another key player,  going 1-for-3 with one  home run and two  runs.
 13 must be Farwell's lucky number: they beat Merrill with that score not once but twice  on Tuesday. The Eagles beat the Vandals by the very same score they won with in their prior game:  13-5. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Vandals recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive  victory against them.
 Houghton Lake might still be hurting after the  12-2 defeat they got from Farwell  in their previous meeting  back in April of 2024. Can the Bobcats avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
