They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Corliss 62-33 at home. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Carver has managed all season.
Several Trojans players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was D?Mario Sanders, who scored ten points. Another player making a difference was Joshua Pegues, who scored ten points.
Carver's victory was their 12th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-8. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.6 points per game. As for Corliss, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Carver will square off against Harlan at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Harlan has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 204 points over their last three matchups.
