Windham is 3-0 against Concord since November of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Saturday. The Windham Jaguars will play host again and welcome the Concord Crimson Tide, where Kickoff is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Concord took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Windham, who comes in off a win.
Last Saturday, Windham never let their opponents score. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Manchester Central 28-0 at home. The win was just what Windham needed coming off of a 34-14 loss in their prior game.
Among those leading the charge was Tiger An, who rushed for 195 yards and two touchdowns. Another player making a difference was Chris Brearley, who rushed for 68 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries.
Meanwhile, Concord faced Dover in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Concord was just a hair shy of victory on Friday and fell 28-27 to Dover. Concord just can't catch a break and has now endured four defeats in a row.
Windham's victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Concord, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their overall record down to 2-5.
Windham beat Concord 30-21 in their previous matchup back in October of 2022. Does Windham have another victory up their sleeve, or will Concord turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
