 In other batting news,  Kadon Mercer and  Trevor Schafers did most of the damage at the plate:  Mercer  got on base  in three of his four plate appearances with a  stolen base and  an  RBI, while  Schafers  scored a  run while going 2-for-3.
 Meanwhile, Remington earned  a  6-1 victory over Trinity  on Tuesday.
 Marion's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Remington, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.
