Make it eight blowout wins for the Kamehameha Hawai'i Warriors this season. They blew past Pahoa 68-45. The win was nothing new for Kamehameha Hawai'i as they're now sitting on five straight.
Despite the defeat, Pahoa saw an underclassman step up: Kyran Canete scored 17 points along with five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Kaumuali'i Gancinia, who scored nine points.
Kamehameha Hawai'i pushed their record up to 11-2 with that win, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Pahoa, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kamehameha Hawai'i will take on Hilo at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Pahoa, they will head out on the road to face off against Christian Liberty Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Christian Liberty Academy is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
