Bishop Rosecrans is 10-0 against Millersport since December of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Bishop Rosecrans Bishops will head out on the road to face off against the Millersport Lakers at 6:00 p.m. Hopefully Bishop Rosecrans focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 on Saturday.
Bishop Rosecrans' 19-4 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 66-65 to Grove City Christian. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Bishop Rosecrans' loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Brendan Bernath, who went 7 for 14 from beyond the arc en route to 29 points and 0 assists, and Grady Labishak who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 12 assists. Labishak scored a full 32.3% of Bishop Rosecrans' points, the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Meanwhile, Millersport came up short against Wellington School on Saturday and fell 49-42. Millersport has not had much luck with Wellington School recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Their wins bumped Bishop Rosecrans to 1-2 and Grove City Christian to 2-0.
Bishop Rosecrans beat Millersport 59-46 when the teams last played back in February. Does Bishop Rosecrans have another victory up their sleeve, or will Millersport turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
