The Rich Rebels scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They rang in the new year with a 66-59 victory over Kemmerer. Winning may never get old, but Rich sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Jaden Desch was the offensive standout of the contest as he dropped a double-double on 20 points and 12 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Ridge Lundgren, who scored ten points along with five rebounds and five steals.
Rich now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Kemmerer, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-5.
Rich is on the road again on Friday and play against Farson-Eden at 4:00 p.m. on January 5th. As for Kemmerer, they will be playing at home against Shoshoni at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Shoshoni is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.
