Christian Family Educators couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They had to suffer through a rough 56-17 loss at the hands of Weskan. Christian Family Educators was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-9.
Weskan was led to victory by Nick Cottrell and Eli Aldridge. Cottrell scored 14 points, while Aldridge scored 16 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Aldridge has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Dodger Allen, who scored eight points.
Christian Family Educators' loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Weskan, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.
Christian Family Educators does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Weskan will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Bethune at 6:00 p.m. on February 6th.
