The Fairview Warriors gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Monday. They walked away with a 49-36 win over Brookside. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Fairview also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2022.
Fairview's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Gabby Davenport, who scored 13 points. Alexa Manos was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Fairview's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Brookside, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Fairview will head out on the road to face off against Cleveland Central Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Brookside, they will be playing at home against Vermilion at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
