Colonial - Patriot recap Oct. 30, 2012
Woodbury extended the longest winning streak in Colonial - Patriot this week by beating Audubon, 42-0. This was the team's fifth consecutive win.
Woodbury took down the Green Wave 42-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Zack Funk and Jaimeek Osborne gave Paulsboro a balanced attack through the air and ground last week. Funk threw for 146 yards and one touchdown, while Osborne ran for 71 yards. Teammate Aaron Robinson added to the ground attack by rushing for 52 yards.
David Robinson was the best wideout in the league this week as Lindenwold fell to Haddon Township. Robinson racked up two receptions for 69 yards. Kay Boateng helped Lindenwold's passing attack out by catching six balls for 41 yards.
On the ground, Zac Valentine's team's Anthony Averertt has rushed for 545 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Derrick Burgess. The Paulsboro star has 28 catches for 309 yards.
A big matchup in Colonial - Patriot this week will be when the Thundering Herd take on the Hawks. As it stands, Woodbury is in first, while Haddon Township is in third.
Audubon made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 7,676 from 8,074. The improvement was the result of 42-0 victory over Dominick Koehl's team last week.
