The Gem State Adventist Academy Jaguars's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They took a 53-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of Vision. The contest was a 26-26 toss-up at halftime, but Gem State Adventist Academy was outscored by Vision in the second.
It was another big night for Grady Walo, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 14 rebounds for Vision. That's the first time this season that Walo scored 15 or more points. Isaac Bay was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with 12 rebounds.
Gem State Adventist Academy now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Vision, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-6.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gem State Adventist Academy will take on Centennial Baptist at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Idaho (Centennial Baptist is ranked 133rd, while Gem State Adventist Academy is ranked 129th). As for Vision, they will look to defend their home court on January 17th against Liberty Charter at 7:30 p.m.
