Bishop LeBlond will challenge Benton on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. Both teams have had a rocky road up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 14-83, which was the final score in Bishop LeBlond's tilt against Savannah last Friday. Bishop LeBlond got a solid performance out of senior Frankie Gall, who picked up 66 yards on the ground and accumulated 136 passing yards; unfortunately, it just wasn't enough for the victory.
Meanwhile, Benton found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 15-46 punch to the gut against Lafayette.
Given their recent losses, both teams have a little extra motivation heading into this weekend. We'll see which team satisfies their hunger and which team leaves with an empty stomach.
