The Linn Wildcats have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome the Owensville Dutchmen at 5:00 p.m. on December 18th. Hopefully Linn focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 22 on Wednesday.
Last Wednesday, Linn was the victim of a tough 58-34 loss at the hands of Fatima. Linn has not had much luck with Fatima recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Linn's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Vivien Baker, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds, and Kenzy Hackmann who scored nine points. Baker continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played.
Even though they lost, Linn were working as a unit and finished the game with 11 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Owensville didn't have too much trouble with St. Pius X at home on Wednesday as they won 41-27. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Owensville.
Linn's defeat ended a ten-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-3. As for Owensville, they pushed their record up to 7-3 with that win, which was their third straight at home.
Linn came up short against Owensville when the teams last played back in December of 2022, falling 60-53. Will Linn have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
