Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Webb). They put the hurt on the McEwen Warriors with a sharp 12-1 win on Wednesday. The victory was familiar territory for the Spartans, who have now won three contests in a row.

Webb's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-8. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for McEwen, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Webb will venture away from home to challenge Heritage at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for McEwen, they will head out to face off against South-Doyle at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
