Yelm lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Timberline, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Friday's   match. The Tornados blew past the Blazers 17-2 on Friday. The Tornados' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  runs they've scored all season.
 Wyatt Robison made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound,   pitching one inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't  given up  more than one  hit in three consecutive appearances. He was even better at the plate,  going 2-for-3 with one  home run and five  RBI. That  home run marked the first that  he has  launched this season.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Lincoln Ramirez, who  got on base  in all four of his plate appearances with four  runs, two  stolen bases,  and two  RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of  Wesley Thompson, who  went 1-for-2 with two  runs, one  double,  and one  RBI.
 Yelm  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .650. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.
Yelm's victory bumped their record up to 11-9. As for Timberline,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 10-10-1.
 Coming up, Yelm will head out to  take on Olympia  at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. The Bears' pitching crew has only allowed 2.6  runs per game  this season, so the Tornados' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Timberline, they have already played their next game,  a  7-2  loss against Bellarmine Prep on the 5th.
