Basketball Game Preview: North Raleigh Christian Academy Knights vs. Metrolina Christian Academy Warriors

The North Raleigh Christian Academy Knights will face off against the Metrolina Christian Academy Warriors at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. North Raleigh Christian Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.5 points per game this season.

North Raleigh Christian Academy is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took their contest back in December of 2024 with ease, bagging a 69-31 victory over Cresset Christian Academy. Given the Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 203rd, while the Eagles are ranked 531st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

North Raleigh Christian Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brennen Jefferson, who went 8 of 14 on his way to 22 points and five rebounds. The matchup was Jefferson's fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cody Dickerson, who went 7 of 10 on his way to 16 points and three steals.

North Raleigh Christian Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in January of 2024.

Meanwhile, Metrolina Christian Academy suffered their biggest defeat since December 3, 2024 on Friday. 2025 welcomed they with a 55-31 loss courtesy of Hickory Grove Christian. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Warriors have suffered against the Lions since January 31, 2020.

The victory made it two in a row for North Raleigh Christian Academy and bumps their season record up to 5-6. As for Metrolina Christian Academy, they dropped their record down to 7-8 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.

North Raleigh Christian Academy skirted past Metrolina Christian Academy 46-43 in their previous meeting back in November of 2023.
