The Crooms Academy Panthers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They were dealt a 50-11 defeat at the hands of Mount Dora. If Crooms Academy was looking for revenge after losing 50-12 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.
Crooms Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Mount Dora, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-14.
Crooms Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Mount Dora will square off against the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Eustis presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Hurricanes in Florida (the Panthers are ranked 224th, while the Hurricanes are ranked 495th).
