After flying high against Sacred Heart Academy on May 6th, Holy Trinity came back down to earth. The Holy Trinity Titans lost 12-4 to the Tamarac Bengals on Tuesday.
For Tamarac's part, Toni DeLorenzo was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over 5.1 innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits. DeLorenzo has been consistent recently: she hasn't pitched less than five innings in six consecutive pitching appearances. DeLorenzo was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.
