The NorthWood Panthers will venture away from home to challenge the Glenn Falcons at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
It was a proper cat-fight when NorthWood challenged Rushville on Saturday. NorthWood took down Rushville 54-38. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

NorthWood relied on the efforts of Haylee Heflin, who went 6 for 8 on her way to 16 points and six rebounds, and Claire Payne, who posted seven points in addition to nine boards and seven blocks. Those seven blocks gave Payne a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Ella Branham, who went 5 of 8 on her way to 10 points.
Meanwhile, Glenn didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Garrett on Saturday, but they still walked away with a 46-42 victory. Given the Falcons' advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 130th, while the Railroaders are ranked 286th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
NorthWood better keep an eye on Alivia Turnage. She was instrumental in Glenn's win, putting up 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Addison Reese, who put up three points and eight steals.
Glenn has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games, which lines up perfectly with their 12-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.1 points per game. As for NorthWood, their record is now 13-3.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: NorthWood has crashing the boards this season, having averaged 32.4 boards per game. However, it's not like Glenn struggles in that department as they've been averaging 23.6 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
NorthWood strolled past Glenn when the teams last played back in January of 2024 by a score of 43-25. The rematch might be a little tougher for NorthWood since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
