It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but North Adams-Jerome ultimately got the result they hoped for on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged out the Waldron Spartans 17-16. The victory continues a trend for the Rams in their matchups with the Spartans: they've now won five in a row.

North Adams-Jerome let Maddie Horn and Kamryn Wagler run wild. Horn got on base in all five of her plate appearances with seven stolen bases and four runs, while Wagler got on base in four of her five plate appearances with three stolen bases, two runs, and one double. That's the most runs Wagler has posted since back in April. Julyann Trumble was another key player, getting on base in three of her six plate appearances with four stolen bases, two RBI, and one run.

North Adams-Jerome always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .640. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

North Adams-Jerome now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Waldron, their defeat was their seventh straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-11.

Looking ahead, North Adams-Jerome will square off against Manchester at 10:00 a.m. on Friday. Waldron does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
