The Brown County Eagles pushed their score all the way to 58 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They received a tough blow as they fell 73-58 to Trinity Lutheran. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Brown County in their matchups with Trinity Lutheran: they've now lost four in a row.
Trinity Lutheran found their leader in underclassman Marley Warren, who scored 24 points along with nine rebounds and two steals. Warren hasn't dropped below 15points for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Liza Froedge, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and three blocks.
Brown County has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-8 record this season. As for Trinity Lutheran, they now have a winning record of 9-8.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Brown County will take on Martinsville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Trinity Lutheran, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Rising Sun at 7:30 p.m. on January 16th.
