Kenesaw's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Sophia Schukei, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds. Schukei continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Elise Schukei, who scored four points along with six rebounds and five steals.
Kenesaw's victory bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Franklin, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.
Kenesaw won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Pleasanton at 3:30 p.m. on January 20th. Hopefully Pleasanton focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Friday. As for Franklin, they will be playing at home against Loomis on Tuesday. Loomis is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.
