After taking the lead on a touchdown pass by
Jake Easter to
Michael Black in the first quarter,
Reagan (Pfafftown, N.C.) was up 35-17 at the half.
The Raiders expanded their lead to 21 points entering the fourth quarter. Reagan scored two times in the third, including once on a Easter touchdown pass to
Brooks Dawson.
RHS was ahead by as much as 28 before
Davie (Mocksville, N.C.) pulled closer.
The Pfafftown school got revenge for last year's 28-17 loss to the War Eagles with the victory.
The win was a nice bounce back for the Raiders, who lost to Northwest Guilford last week, 37-35. The defeat comes as a step back for Davie, which notched a 43-7 victory over Thomasville in its previous outing. The win broke Reagan's two-game losing streak.
Davie (2-4) will play a 4A Conference 7 game against North Davidson next week, while Reagan (4-2) will take on Mount Tabor also in a 4A Conference 7 game.
