Lutheran hadn't done well against Rock Falls recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Jake Guse was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off six hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.
