In what's become a running theme this season, Snow Hill gave their fans yet another huge victory on Monday. They breezed by Washington at home to the tune of 79-39. Given Snow Hill's advantage in MaxPreps' Maryland basketball rankings (they are ranked 57th, while Washington is ranked 275th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Northampton beat Arcadia 60-50 on Tuesday.
Northampton's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ronyell Coston, who scored 21 points along with five steals. Coston is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last eight games he's played. Quayshawn Washington was another key contributor, scoring 19 points along with six steals.
Snow Hill pushed their record up to 17-3 with that win, which was their seventh straight at home. As for Northampton, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season.
