Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Erie-Mason). They blew past the Britton Deerfield Patriots 54-21 on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in February.

The victory made it two in a row for Erie-Mason and bumps their season record up to 2-3. As for Britton Deerfield, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Erie-Mason and St. Mary Catholic Central will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. St. Mary Catholic Central will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Erie-Mason surely won't give up without a fight. As for Britton Deerfield, they will be home for the holidays to greet Lenawee Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
