On Saturday, Peninsula Catholic had to suffer through a rough 53-17 loss at the hands of Denbigh. Peninsula Catholic has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Claire Ives was Peninsula Catholic's leading scorer, having posted eight points.
Gilesa Patrick held things down on the boards with nine rebounds. Patrick took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with two assists.
Peninsula Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Denbigh, their victory bumped their record up to 1-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Peninsula Catholic will take on Cape Henry Collegiate at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Denbigh is on the road again on Tuesday and play against Gloucester at 5:30 p.m. on December 5th.
