After two games on the road, Montgomery Academy is heading back home. They will take on the Alabama Christian Academy Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
Last Friday, Montgomery Academy was on the wrong end of a 63-19 loss at the hands of Andalusia.
Even though the team lost, they still saw several impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from D.j. Vinson, who picked up 128 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Vinson was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield for a catch that went for 63 yards. Parker Cook was another key contributor, throwing for 155 yards and two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, after a disappointing six points in their last match, Alabama Christian Academy made sure to put some points up on the board against Sumter Central on Friday. Alabama Christian Academy enjoyed a cozy 49-18 win over Sumter Central.
Alabama Christian Academy's victory bumped their season record to 3-2 while Montgomery Academy's defeat dropped theirs to 2-4.
