Fleming won the last time they faced Hi-Plains, and Ciana Lousberg did her part to make sure it happened again. The Fleming Wildcats snuck past the Hi-Plains Patriots with a 35-29 win on Friday with plenty of help from Lousberg, who went 7-for-16 on her way to 16 points. She is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last six games she's played.

Hi-Plains lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Cambria Seaman, who posted nine points in addition to eight rebounds and five steals. Brianna Rueb was another key player, putting up four points and ten boards.

The victory made it two in a row for Fleming and bumps their season record up to 17-5. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.5 points on average over those games. As for Hi-Plains, with the loss, they broke their seven-game winning streak and moved their record to 15-7.

Fleming has already played their next contest, a 52-41 defeat against Idalia on the 1st. As for Hi-Plains, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 31-22 loss against Briggsdale on the 1st.
