Brewster Posts Huge Game in 44-21 Victory
Starting off the list is ALA - Ironwood's Jett Brewster, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Brewster rushed for 103 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries, and also threw for 146 yards and a touchdown.
Brewster and ALA - Ironwood will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Tempe at 7:00 p.m. on October 18th. Drew Campbell Delivers Best Performance of Season
Sadly, Drew Campbell posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Crismon over ALA - Ironwood on Friday. Campbell picked up 86 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 50 yards. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 50 yards.
The loss snapped Crismon's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-4 record. Campbell and Crismon will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on San Tan Foothills at 7:00 p.m. on October 18th.
