Brewster Posts Huge Game in 44-21 Victory
Starting off the list is ALA - Ironwood's Jett Brewster, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Brewster rushed for 103 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries, and also threw for 146 yards and a touchdown.
Brewster and ALA - Ironwood will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Tempe at 7:00 p.m. on October 18th. The last time Brewster took on the Buffaloes, he rushed for 81 yards and a touchdown on only five carries, and also threw for 41 yards and a touchdown while completing 80% of his passes. Drew Campbell Delivers Best Performance of Season
Sadly, Drew Campbell posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Crismon over ALA - Ironwood on Friday. Campbell picked up 86 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 50 yards. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 50 yards.
The loss snapped Crismon's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-4 record. Campbell and Crismon will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on San Tan Foothills at 7:00 p.m. on October 18th.

Ayden Williams Makes It Two for ALA - Ironwood
The second ALA - Ironwood player making an appearance here is Ayden Williams, and for good reason. He rushed for 125 yards and two touchdowns.
If the past is any indication, Williams could be in store for another big game when he takes on Tempe on Friday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Williams saw the Buffaloes), he rushed for 236 yards and four touchdowns.
