The Easton Warriors will challenge the Queen Anne's County Lions at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a four-game winning streak alive.
Easton's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They put the hurt on Cambridge-South Dorchester with a sharp 16-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won eight games by six runs or more so far this season.
Dustin Blue made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. Blue was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in April of 2024.

In other batting news, Dylan Cassell was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with seven RBI, two runs, and one triple. Those seven RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Kayden Webb, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two stolen bases and three runs.
Easton was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .423. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in four consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Queen Anne's County). Everything went their way against Wicomico on Friday as they made off with a 17-2 victory. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.
Dulin Clark was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with six RBI, two runs, and one triple. That triple marked the first that he has hit this season. Chance Hegedus was another key player, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.
Easton's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-4. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.3 runs over those games. As for Queen Anne's County, they now have a winning record of 7-6.
Easton took their victory against Queen Anne's County when the teams last played on April 3rd by a conclusive 12-6 score. Do the Warriors have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Lions turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
