The Notre Dame de Sion Storm have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 21 points or more this season. They breezed by Pleasant Hill on the road to the tune of 64-32. The victory was familiar territory for Notre Dame de Sion who now have three in a row.
Notre Dame de Sion got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Taelyn Smith out in front who scored 13 points along with eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Abby Wendte, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds and four steals.
The win got Notre Dame de Sion back to even at 6-6. As for Pleasant Hill, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-5 record this season.
Notre Dame de Sion's road trip will continue as they head out to face Grandview at 12:30 p.m. on January 13th. Hopefully Grandview focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 28 on Thursday. Pleasant Hill won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Pembroke Hill on January 12th. Pembroke Hill comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
