If Brownell Talbot wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Arlington, they should've done a better job of containing Oliver Ladehoff. The Eagles walked away with a 54-41 victory over the Raiders on Saturday thanks in part to Ladehoff, who shot 53% from the field on his way to 20 points and five assists. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 15.8 points per game.

Brownell Talbot lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Perry Anderson, who posted 16 points and three steals. That was a full 39% of Brownell Talbot's points, marking the third time in a row Anderson has earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Marcel Banks, who had nine points.

Arlington's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Brownell Talbot, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Arlington will venture away from home to challenge Douglas County West on Tuesday. As for Brownell Talbot, they will head out to take on Mead at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
