Granville Central were successful in their last outing against J.F. Webb, and they didn't afford J.F. Webb any payback this time around. Everything went Granville Central's way against J.F. Webb on Friday as they made off with a 33-8 victory.
Granville Central started the matchup off right with 20 first-half points. Meanwhile, J.F. Webb couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 20-0 heading into the break. The Granville Central defense stood its ground in the third quarter, giving up 0 and all but finishing the contest. Granville Central added further sheen to their flawless record, now 5-0. J.F. Webb are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-6.
Next week Granville Central take on Bunn at Youth Night at 7:00 PM. Bunn are cruising in on a three-game winning streak. As for J.F. Webb, they will face off against Warren County. Neither J.F. Webb nor Warren County could muster much offensive firepower in their last games, so look to the defense to decide this one.
