Palm Bay hadn't beaten Odyssey Charter School on the road since September 14, 2021 but that history sure didn't bother them on Thursday. The Pirates came out on top against the Titans by a score of 3-1.
Palm Bay was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-20, 12-25, 25-22.

Rachel Twardzik was nothing short of spectacular: she had 15 digs, eight aces, and seven kills. Those seven kills gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Audrey Swartz, who had six digs, five kills, and two aces.
They weren't the only good servers: Palm Bay was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Eau Gallie lost 3-0 to Brevard HEAT on Thursday.
The final score came out to 25-19, 25-12, 25-17.
Eau Gallie's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Palm Bay, their victory bumped their record up to 4-10.
