The Brookfield Bobcats will look to defend their home court  on Tuesday against the Joel Barlow Falcons at 7:00  p.m. The timing is sure in Brookfield's favor as the  squad sits on three straight wins at home while Joel Barlow has been banged up by five consecutive losses on the road.
 Brookfield pushed their score all the way to 56 on Thursday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell to Pomperaug  62-56.
 Brookfield might have lost, but man,  Shane Weber was a machine:  he  scored 25 points along with five  assists and five  rebounds. That was a full 44.6% of Brookfield's points, marking the 18th time in a row he's  earned more than a third of the team's points.  Danny Ciriello was another key contributor,  scoring 13 points along with three  steals and three  blocks.
 Meanwhile, Joel Barlow pushed their score all the way to 56 on Thursday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They received a tough blow  as they fell  70-56 to Weston.
 Brookfield's defeat dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Joel Barlow, they have  not been sharp recently as the team has  lost 11 of their last 13 contests,  which put a noticeable dent in their 3-15 record  this season.
 Everything came up roses for Brookfield against Joel Barlow in their previous meeting  back in January as the  squad secured a  58-27 win. Will Brookfield repeat their success,  or does  Joel Barlow have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
