The Fort Lee Bridgemen fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They came out on top against Pompton Lakes by a score of 51-39 on Monday.
Fort Lee was led to victory by Guy Vickers and Devin Jang. Vickers dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds, while Jang scored 23 points along with four steals. Vickers hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for four straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Jun Best, who scored four points along with three steals.
Fort Lee's win bumped their record up to 7-13. As for Pompton Lakes, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-6.
Fort Lee will head out on the road to challenge Dwight Morrow at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Dwight Morrow knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past five matches -- so hopefully Fort Lee likes a good challenge. As for Pompton Lakes, they will be playing at home against Hawthorne at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
