Mount Carmel and Milton are an even 3-3 against one another since April of 2021, but likely not for long. The RED TORNADOES will head out on the road to take on the Black Panthers at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Mount Carmel has four straight wins, Milton has five straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Mount Carmel made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Midd-West, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The RED TORNADOES put the hurt on the Mustangs with a sharp 20-12 victory on Monday. The RED TORNADOES' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Noah Shimko looked comfortable as he tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He is becoming a predictor of Mount Carmel's success: when he allows at most two hits the team is undefeated (and 1-2 when he doesn't).

Meanwhile, Milton came up short against Danville on Wednesday, falling 20-1.
