The Hayes Pacers won the last time they faced the Franklin Heights Falcons, and things went their way on Friday too. Hayes was the clear victor by a 30-6 margin over Franklin Heights. The result was nothing new for Hayes, who have now won five contests by 24 points or more so far this season.
Jake Lowman was his usual excellent self, throwing for 244 yards and three touchdowns on only 17 passes. Hayes also got a significant boost from Gavin Brinkmoeller, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 94 yards.
Hayes' victory was their third straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 8-2. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 2-8 Franklin Heights and 2-8 Dublin Scioto (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 33.3% over those games). As for Franklin Heights, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-8.
Hayes will look to defend their home field on Friday against Miamisburg at 7:00 p.m. Franklin Heights does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
