Having just played yesterday, the Spanish Springs Cougars will jump right back in to play the Northgate Broncos at 12:40 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Spanish Springs focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 29 on Wednesday.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Caleb Thomas, who scored eight points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Cameron Washington was another key contributor, scoring six points.
Meanwhile, Northgate came up short against La Costa Canyon on Wednesday and fell 62-50. Northgate has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Jake Andjus put forth a good effort for the losing side as he scored 21 points along with five rebounds. The matchup was his third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Majed Alhejazin, who scored 11 points.
Spanish Springs' record now sits at 4-6. As for Northgate, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-5 record this season.
Thursday's contest is shaping up to be a scrappy game: Spanish Springs have been smashing the glass this season, having only averaged 28.9 rebounds per game. It's a different story for Northgate, though, as they've been averaging only 24.2 rebounds per game. Given Spanish Springs' sizeable advantage in that area, Northgate will need to find a way to close that gap.
