A Season-Best Performance from Javier Denson Leads Stratford over Northbrook
On Friday, Stratford got the W thanks in part to Javier Denson playing the best football he has all season. Denson's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 127 rushing yards dating back to last season. He showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 60 yards.
Denson will have a chance to log another big game when he takes on Jersey Village on Saturday. Denson will face off against Devin Pickney on Saturday, the Falcons' star rusher. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.

Memorial's seven-game losing streak dating back to last season is now nothing but a memory thanks in part to Austin Alpe. Alpe threw for 190 yards and two touchdowns while completing 76.9% of his passes, and also rushed for 47 yards, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in rushing yards.
Memorial's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. Alpe's next match is against Cy-Fair on Friday, where he'll look to repeat that solid effort.
