Despite the loss, Apostles Lutheran still got an impressive performance from Jeremy Bork, who scored 16 points along with 8 rebounds and 6 steals. Bork scored a full 43.2% of Apostles Lutheran's points, the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Chris Kim, who scored 5 points along with 18 rebounds and 4 steals.
Apostles Lutheran now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Cindy Avitia, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Apostles Lutheran will square off against Mid-Peninsula at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Cindy Avitia won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against DCP Alum Rock at 7:00 p.m. on December 5th. DCP Alum Rock is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.
